Jason and Darcie Brown are sought after photographers and educators in the Fraser Valley. Their studio, Revival Arts, is recognized nationally for creating artistic portraits and stunning commercial photography.

They bought their first film SLR camera in 1997 as newlyweds and have whole heartedly embraced the creative and technical sides of photography. After several years of experimentation, they both studied photography at Langara College in Vancouver where they gained a solid technical foundation and were challenged by top instructors.

Jason and Darcie have had Revival Arts since 2001 offering photography services throughout the Lower Mainland. They take hundreds of photographs every week and share their practical knowledge through classes. Their students keep asking for more photography classes knowing that Jason and Darcie are clear communicators and that their tips and methods really work.

They have taught and spoken about photography at The Reach Gallery Museum, Langley Camera Club, Surrey Photo Arts Club, the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club Photographic Seminar, the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts and many community and church groups throughout the Fraser Valley.

Their classes are organized and well prepared while they remain personable and approachable for interaction and questions in their courses. They provide clear, concise handouts for each course which are complimented by examples from their own work. They also incorporate fun, hands-on exercises so all types of learners, ages and experience are able to grasp the concepts taught and leave feeling inspired and empowered.
