Photography for Teens

Do you know a teen who uses photography as a form of self-expression? This course is specifically designed for teens aged 15 – 18 who are drawn to the creative side of photography. By photographing a still life object and making a unique, framed 8x8 piece of art, we will foster creativity and explore the entire photographic process from concept to final display.

Professional photographers, Jason and Darcie Brown of Revival Arts, will guide students through a photography job from start to finish. After developing a concept, we will work on a project that explores design, composition, lighting, photography, post production, printing, mounting and framing.

Each student will contribute throughout the hands-on, collaborative process and have a unique, one-of-a-kind, framed piece of art to display at home. This is a rare opportunity to partner with working professional photographers and see what goes on behind the scenes at a working photography studio.
